Wine of the month

This stunning Californian wine is a new discovery for us this year. Made with the seldom used Valdiguié grape it is fresh, light and abundantly fruity on the nose.

In the mouth this has all of the elegance and lightness of a Burgundy but entirely different flavour characteristics. With crushed raspberries, dark cherries and dark skinned plums exploding on the palate it slowly gives way to hints of grass with a subtle but lengthy finish.

With all of the renewal and freshness of Spring, this is certainly a wine to complement the season. It is also exceptionally good value at £12.50
